I wanna take you down,
I wanna take you out,
I wanna be the one to break your dignity...
And all your empty pride,
Will rot the hole inside,
Bet you'd make a beautiful suicide...

Number Placement:
N/A
Gender:
♂
Years since Creation:
Between 2 to 3 1/2 years
Date of Creation:
April 1
Alignment:
Traitor
Height:
Nearly just under 9"
Fabric:
His fabric is just the standard burlap, with no real designs or modifications. He doesn't see the point in changing up his appearance when in his line of work it could possibly be ruined on his next outing.
Metal:
Like David, he also has a frame of thinned out iron. However some parts of his frame have been replaced with aluminum, as he has suffered from broken extremities like arms, legs and fingers. One of his optics even had to be replaced after a fight with Jed.
Anomalies:
He has sort of mohawk-styled hair that seems to be the opposite of David's, as it is blue as opposed to red and falls over the right side of his face instead of the left. This is his only physical abnormality, since as previously stated he doesn't really modify himself in any way.
Accessories:
None yet.
Abilities:
Latch might be able to get inside a person's head if they aren't strong enough to resist.
Weapon(s):
He has an old skeleton key that is sharpened at the very tip, and the teeth of the key have been made into an almost serrated edge like a knife. This weapon is not only used for fighting though, as it will assume the role of a crutch if Latch is seriously injured in a fight.
Personality:
Latch's attitude can be described as him being a jerk, perhaps even beyond that with some of the things he does and says. He takes his job as a traitor rather seriously, that job being the extermination of anyone not on the master list of traitors. He seems to take immeasurable pride and joy in his work, and if he fails he takes it very hard... To the point where he will be determined to hunt down whoever bested him and keep trying until they're dead.
Sometimes when faced with failure, Latch may for some time revert to a nearly child-like behavior. At these times he hugs his key like a child might a stuffed animal, and he sticks rather close to his mother until he snaps out of it. He usually doesn't stay in this stage for all that long, as he seems to know on some level that he can't sit around moping all day. He knows he should get back out there and kill whatever made him fail.
He is also very possessive over his 'prey', never hesitating to get violent with whoever seems to have set their sights on a victim he has already claimed for himself. He can seem very arrogant at times, seeming to think certain things are entitled to him. This may be because of his mother Riv, who seemed to always favor him over David and gave him better treatment. Latch always strives to please his mother, never lying to her and doing exactly as she asks.
Towards David he seems to be some twisted version of the standard annoying younger brother, as Latch seems to enjoy messing with his head. He likes to mess with just about everyone's heads except Riv's, but he seems to favor David's just because he can snap so easily at it... Because Latch knows exactly which buttons to push and which strings to tug on to manipulate him into different reactions and emotions. Despite this and any other asinine behavior he may display towards David he still cares about him somewhat, though he can't really show it as he just doesn't really know how. Also the traitors just don't seem to be the most loving bunch anyway.
Other Information:
Despite Latch's otherwise jerkish behavior, underneath it there seems to be some other set of behavior that is rarely seen. He is sort of emotionally unstable, his upbringing having not been the standard childhood most enjoy. He always does his best to make his mother proud not because it is she to whom he reports his successes and failures, but mostly because it brings about these rare moments where Riv will be motherly towards him. Something in him craves that sort of attention, though he's not exactly conscious of this fact.
The key is a symbol of comfort to him as well, something he found as a child and carried with him everywhere. He used to use it as some sort of toy, but it became a weapon once Riv had decided that he was old enough. His behavior sort of rather abruptly shifted into his current personality once this happened, as if when the toy became a weapon he became sharpened too.
Note; Riv is one of Minion's cbox characters.
