I'm sorry it's come to this, but I think it's time to say goodbye.
For various reasons, I've lost my faith in this place.
I've had fun, sometimes, at this place. But it's got to the point where I feel frustrated and even a bit depressed every time I click onto the board.
Being the enthusiastic little puppy I am, I had lots of plans for the future and it's a shame I won't be able to act them out.
I'm sick of people saying they want to thread definitely definitely, only to drop the line and say nothing for months, if anything at all.
I'm sick of trying to organise things for my characters and for others – and getting no feedback, no responses.
There's no activity, or rather no long term activity, people seem content to post for a bit and then just drop the plot altogether and move on. It's not fair, and I'm done chasing after people.
To some extent, it's not the fault of those people - that's just how they roll and maybe they're more suited to Cbox roleplay, but I'm not.
I joined a forum Roleplay, but this seems more like a chat group now.
I'm upset, I'm angry, and I'm trying not to make a big deal out of this but I think you guys have a right to know why I've chosen to leave.
I will miss many of you, and I hope you choose to stay in contact with me through Deviantart or Msn... I would hate to completely cut ties.
I've had fun, it was a blast, and I hope to see you all around. It's a shame that it didn't work out but...
C'est la vie.
1: Boy, I really enjoyed playing this character, and still want to play him. I had a few ideas and was all fired up, but I can't play him by myself. ^^;
Guess I'll have to pass on the torch, and hope he doesn't get scrapped, that would be a shame. He really is a fun character to play, and I meant it when I said I think he's really important to the dynamic of the canon characters.
I salute you 1, may you not be forgotten.
82 wandered away from the Cathedral in search of 815, and found him... or most of him.
After burying his remains, she was accosted by William, and never seen again.
99 is still out and about, crazy as usual and has long since forgotten her number. She's traded away a lot of her treasure and is off to seek new adventures elsewhere - she hasn't been seen since.
Scout - Maybe one day as you wander the wastelands, you may catch sight of a figure out of the corner of your eye, but when you focus, it's gone.
She has become a little bit of a folk myth, no one knows whether she still exists or not. She never found out her true purpose and remained lonely to the end of her days.
@ White. Don't worry I plan to finish my thread with you - but after that I'll have to pack it up.
Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors, and I sincerely hope we meet again someday.
