Daniel
Number/Name: Daniel
Number Placement: Jayden had no number, thus he does not either
Gender: Male
Years since Creation: Been in sleep mode until recently, body created over three years ago
Date of Creation: June 2
Alignment: Lone
Height: 5 inches
Fabric: Cotton with patches of various material
Metal: Aluminum
Anomalies: The same anomalies that had applied to Jayden, now of course apply here too. He is quite weak due to the unfinished, flimsy structure of his frame, and could actually snap his own joints if they are strained too hard. Also, the very fact that he exists could be considered one in itself. Not many ragdolls (if any) acquired their second life the way he did.
Accessories: He has none, as there is little use for excess material. Most of the time, in his opinion, it just gets in the way.
Abilities: Accomplished in very specific alchemy and mechanical crafting
Weapon(s):Daniel cannot fight in the slightest, though he does have a small weapon for defense resembling a scalpel. This really is no more then a blade fixed to a wooden pole however and can't stand up to much force. His real weapon lies in his creation, It, whom he relies on for nearly all his protection.
Appearance:
Thanks Eshe <3
Personality: Cruel and pitiless, Daniel acts purely out of self interest in all he does, hardly caring at all who or what gets hurt along the way. There are not many he trusts, and for good reason as he seems to have the uncanny ability to make enemies very quickly, as well as the fact there are a few vengeful ragdolls from past experiments that would enjoy seeing him suffer. So because of this he does prefer to work, and most of the time, totally isolates himself from others, unless they have shown that they would be absolutely faithful. If he does find someone to trust, he is civil and polite, though by no means does that mean he is a close friend. Most of the time he doesn't even divulge his true name, even to colleagues, and instead uses the name of the kid he stole his body from because they had been trusted by so many. Thus he will tell anyone he meets that he is called Jayden. The only time this changes this isolated demeanor is when he wants to lure another back to his place. He does so by pulling on a face of innocence, and using the childish form he stole, is often successful in tricking kindhearted people, and luring others into a false sense of security.
He does not take any sort of pleasure in the pain he might cause during the experiments he does; he just sees it as an unfortunate side effect to something more important. That is what he'll tell the test subject he catches, and no matter how much they beg and plead, he will generally be unmoved and mainly unresponsive to any threats they might throw out. The experiments and tests that he performs are certainly immoral on a grand scale, though he sees nothing wrong with it. This is all with one final goal in mind, one that he had begun work on way back as a human in Pandora Laboratories. Of course he wants all to be in order before he goes through with his goal, so in the meantime, he kidnaps and uses other stitchpunks as guinea pigs, and not for experiments on their bodies, but their souls.
Other Information: Before becoming a stitchpunk, Daniel was one of the head doctors at the research lab Pandora, a secret facility below the mental hospital that practiced unspeakable acts upon some select inmates and others taken from the outside world that had talents they desired to cultivate for other purposes. Daniel was cruel enough to subject his own daughter to the experiments without hesitation for a large sum of money, claiming she had never meant all that much to him anyway. When the war reached it's high point and it became clear that the human's were probably not going to survive this, Daniel planned on how to get out of it. With his family gone by now (or so he thought) he didn't have them to worry about and immediately put a plan into action. It involved the son of another one of the Pandora doctors, Jayden, who was one of the few people still around he felt might be trustworthy enough for what he had planned. Daniel did not want to witness the end of humankind, as there would for sure be far too much danger, panic and mayhem in the beginning, so Jayden would be his caretaker for the next four years, inhabiting the body he would take over when things calmed down, while he, Daniel, kept his soul in hibernation in an alchemical capsule within the same body.
Daniel achieved freedom a little early by being coaxed free by the alchemist Merrick in an attempt to save Jayden, who had been growing steadily more ill thanks to Daniel's presence. Jayden was saved, though expelled from his own body, and Daniel moved in to replace him. Daniel does not know though that Jayden survived and thus took on his identity. Wasting no time, Daniel immediately set out to start on the experiments he had left behind, and his first goal was to see how far souls could be manipulated. In hearing about how stitchpunk babies were formed via two souls, Daniel decided to see just how far one could take this, and over the course of about a month, stole bits of soul from five different people, as well as an entire soul of an unborn child, and hoped to meld these together to create a new life. This succeeded, and the creature known as It came to be. He immediately caught onto it's loyalty and decided to use It as his own personal bodyguard. Where It loves Daniel and is extremely loyal, Daniel doesn't care for It much at all, giving It only enough affection to keep it loyal to him, and protect him under any circumstance. Where Daniel lacks in strength and size, It more then makes it up for him, and he takes full advantage of this, often sitting back and allowing It to take down potential subjects while he watches.
