Personality
Speaking softly and with an ever-present calmness about her, Nuriel, as she is most often called, is a calm, gentle, ragdoll who goes from place to place doing charitable work for those in need. Ever mysterious, her words always seem to be cloaked in ambiguity and even her expression, a stoic smile, is caked with an unreadable aura. As expressionless as she may seem, it only seems to be the negative feelings that she hides away, and her ever-present smile will sometimes widen at the joys of others, usually brought about from her work. She pursues midwifery with utter charity and kind-heartedness, but when questioned why she does so or how she gathered her skills, she will simply go quiet and unresponsive, her smile still present, but lessened to a degree. She is self-sacrificing, and will always put the needs of others before herself, always willing to give even the most despicable of creatures a second chance so long as they posses a soul. Saviors, Rogues, Loners, Racketeers, and Traitors are welcome in her eyes, even if it is mutinous or even insane in the eyes of opposing factions.

[SKETCH IMAGE]
Looking old, hobbling, and just a little bit rusty, Nuriel doesn't appear to be most nimble of creatures. Her copper hands and optics have bled green patina on to her skin, and her long yarn hair has yellowed with time. She is always covered in a green, polyester coat, in which she is constantly huddled inside, holding on to her torch for support. On her person, Nuriel carries with her many supplies, usually concealed with deep pockets inside her coat, but also includes a set of needles around her twine belt and spool of thread around her arm. Her most prominent accessory, though, is most likely the green Garnet amulet which hangs from her hood, keeping her coat together. Inside it is what appear to be the patterned design for a leaf, something from an extinct life form called a tree.
The first thing that would probably indicate this ragdoll's presence is the glowing light that comes from her staff, or rather, her torch, as the wooden stick she carries has a disassembled oil lamp attached to it's top. Though it doesn't appear to be a weapon at first glance, the flame this old doll carries around comes with a deadly attachment- a crystal glass blade. Made from fused quartz, when the fire is burning bright, this sharp crystal serves as an excellent hot plate- or, if necessary, a dangerous weapon, especially to those of the more combustible nature. She doesn't seem to use it as such though, and instead simply uses its flame as a guiding light to any passersby.
M.O.
Nuriel's main purpose is to aid "pregnant" dolls in the delivery of children, but at the same time, she is also a strong advocate of stable relationships. She is a believer in the power of love, and the value of family, and insists that soul-binding, if done, be performed by a couple that are truly in love and have committed to each other. She also believes in the presence of innocence, and vows to protect any and all children that come her way, whether from physical or emotional threats.
Strengths
Nuriel, quite literally, is the Jack- or rather- Jill of all trades. Of course, in her line of work, she has to be, being a self-entitled and charitable Mid-wife of the Wastes. Her most recognizable skill is alchemy, as she has a fondness for stones and natural elements, but also dabbles in mechanics and medicine, being an admirable craftswoman. She isn't quite limber in her old age, but even then she still manages to get around. In fact, she seems to travel rather fast for for such an old thing...
Weaknesses
While strong in many aspects, Nuriel is extremely gullible- not so much because she isn't cautious or clever, but because she is too trusting and committed to her work. Her self-sacrificial nature makes it so that she will endanger herself no matter how risky the situation may seem, even knowingly walking into traps. While she is very capable of defending herself (though she may not appear that way) she is easy to give in if her survival means harm to anyone else, even if that said person is 'less than deserving'.
On top of this, while her gold frame lends her to be able to withstand alchemical transmutations much more easily than other dolls, it also makes her physically weak. Being the weakest of the metals, gold is easy to bend or ding, and thus during a fight, even if it is minor, she will more than likely end up with a few dents in her frame, making her less and less agile over time.
The Virtue's True Form
[. . .]
...Undoing her twine belt, her robe seems to fall to the wayside, and Nuriel's old age seems to melt away to reveal a shapely, even beautiful form. Her body is covered in thick, gold plating, the plating on her back shaped as stylized wings, and the plating on her chest shaped as the alchemical symbol for gold. These plates, while symbolic and certainly interesting to look at, are used dually to protect the cavity where her soul is held. She, in essence, cannot have children because of these modifications.
She doesn't remove her thick polyester coat just for any situation, though. The removing of the cloak is a signal of a time of dire need, when time is of the essence and speed is your only friend. For while ridding herself of her previously elderly guise makes her quicker, it makes her more open to attacks as well, and it is thus only when she is desperate to protect whomever is dearest to her will she shed it, sacrificing her own security for the safety of another. She will then not hesitate to fight her attacker with every last bit of strength she has, and will literally throw herself at the opponent if it means that those around her get a chance at freedom.
Inventory
Nuriel has an array of tools she uses for her trade, many of which she will carry in her robe or twine belt, though she will also gather much of her necessities from the wasteland. These are some of the uncommon items that she carries around on her person.[/center]
Crystal quartz: Given to soul-bonded ragdolls. When done, the crystal tends to glow a brilliant green along with other colors. "It's excellent for it's metaphysical properties- After all, there is no better way to make the future clear than with a crystal, haha."
Black Tourmaline: In an amulet form. Sometimes she will hold on to this when working with mechanical bits or when forging.
Agate: If she finds these, she will sometimes offer Agate chips out to expecting parents.
Smokey Quartz: "Only for emergencies.
Sewing Set: On a twine belt, she carries an upholstery needle and two smaller needles she uses commonly, along with the spool of thread around her arm.
