You'll never get that taste out of your mouth,
You'll never get the paw prints out of the henhouse now,
And you can't go back the same way you came,
Round all the pieces up, but they just don't fit the same...

Wolf, The Shifter: To Accompany Us
Stitchpunk Form
Number/Name: Wolf
Number Placement: It was originally on his left hip, but he tore it off inadvertedly, which provoked him to take the name “Wolf”
Gender: Male
Years since Creation: 5
Date of Creation: October 8th.
Alignment: Savior
Height: 6 inches
Fabric: Polyester- white on his body, black and white stripes on his arms.
Metal: Iron
Anomalies: Wolf’s body is littered with zippers at odd angles, peppered over his arms, legs and torso. His insides are occupied mostly by a variety of machinery that enable him to transform into a machine similar to a skull beast (specifics of machine form are in their own reference- look down.) Because of this, most of his frame is taken up by complex joints and such that make it far weaker than a more solid iron frame, and there's no wood in his hands or feet, only dull gray metal.
He has short, messy off-white hair made of shredded pieces of shoelaces that covers the tops of his optics and casts his face in shadow. His fingers are also pointed and can be pretty sharp, but he would never dream of using them against another person unless sufficiently provoked (to the point where he isn't really thinking straight)
Accessories: Wolf doesn’t wear much, as his zippers need to be unobstructed in order for him to change from stitchpunk to machine. He can often be seen carrying something from place to place if ordered to; he gets saddled with a lot of odd jobs, mostly because he has problems refusing them.
Abilities: Wolf is able to change freely from his beast form to his stitchpunk form- but it's a tricky business, considering how many bits of metal are moving at once, and if he did so while being attacked, it would be altogether too easy for the attacker to foul up the process. Also, if he's wounded, repair is harder, because even pretty shallow wounds can get at his mechanisms.
Without changing forms, Wolf is not much good in a fight, but more because he just doesn't try than being hinderingly wimpy. Taking damage of any kind has the potential to jam his systems.
Weapon(s): Claws.
Appearance: Wolf usually looks shorter than he actually is, due to his habit of bending inwards at the waist. He doesn't straighten up much unless he's mustering his nerve for something.
He was something of a nervous wreck before joining the Saviors, and thus his zippers are covered with scratch marks, though he's since broken himself of the habit of clawing at his person and calmed down a great deal, despite the fact that he's not exactly the most trusted Savior out there.
Personality: Though being a half-machine lands him in a potentially powerful position, Wolf has a large number of psychological inhibitors that keep him strictly in the position of an underdog. A crippling inferiority complex is the most noticeable, as well as zero confidence in his own judgment. He tends to just about bend over backwards in an effort to please other Saviors, which can be hard as he's also subject to a fair amount of mistrust because of his status.
He is a pretty terrible liar and usually doesn't even try to hide things.
Wolf has no ulterior motives, but sincerely tries his hardest to help people, mostly limited to his fellow saviors as he doesn't get out much. He tends to be less twitchy around people he knows are friends.
Other Information: Wolf's doglike traits tend to show even in his stitchpunk form, though it's pretty rare for him to actually get angry enough to growl or snarl. He has a habit of avoiding eye contact with people.
Machine Form
Name: Wolf
Species: Sentient
Implied Gender: Male
Purpose: Intended as defense, of himself and others.
Anomalies: Wolf’s beast form retains some traits of his stitchpunk form- the forepaws are covered with the striped cloth from his arms, though it’s pulled tight over the much longer, thin frame of the forelimb and only covers his arm from the elbow joint downwards. His stitchpunk optics are set into the eye sockets of the 'skull', but this means he lacks the spotlight-eye of Fabricator-made skull beasts, and consequently has to use the light of his surroundings to see by. He has a tail made of a bike chain that can be quite useful, but mainly serves to help him balance.
Accessories: None.
Weapon(s): Claws, fangs, tail.
Appearance: For a skull beast, he’s a bit smaller than most, and the fabric that covers the body of his stitchpunk self is located in the center of his body, covered by the metallic ‘ribs’ that make up the torso. His skull is not actually bone, but a rough likeness made of interlocking metal plates that, like the rest of him, is collapsable and folds up inside of his stitchpunk form.
Personality: Wolf's wild side is more prominent in his machine form, as he's bursting with energy. Don't be mistaken, though, he's just as much of an underdog, and can be ordered around by people half his size in this state. It's easier to get to his temper, though, and machine Wolf is far quicker to growl if he feels his fellow Saviors are threatened. Generally the main difference is that he's more twitchy and prone to physical shows of discomfort; fidgeting on his paws or such.
Other Information: Wolf cannot speak stitchpunk language in his beast form, but can speak the machine language. He's generally limited to speaking whichever language he's in the form of, stitchpunk or skull beast, but can understand both. Admittedly though, he's not very good at Machine; he can get the basic jist of what people are saying, but speaks with what could be described as an absolutely godawful accent.
