D E E P E R
- Personality: Ambitious and powerful when he wants to be. Usually, though, he's withdrawn and quiet, mostly in memory of the way he used to be as a human. Back then, he was outgoing and charming, but cold and calculating. Not a good friend to have, but too important to have as an enemy. He's the type to use people as footholds and steps when it suits him.
Angstrom and his family have been through a lot even before it existed - he and Feral worked together as traitors for the BRAIN before they left together and were hunted until just recently. Feral is the most important thing in Angstrom's life - he pulled him out of a suicidal depression and is the only thing he lives for now.
- (+) characteristics: secretive, charming, thinks-things-through
- (-) characteristics: selfish, antisocial, self-pitying
History (waking up): Angstrom woke up alone, but didn't make a big deal out of it. He spent the first few weeks of re-life wandering around, until he ran into 51. The two of them helped each other neutralize a machine that was hunting them and they became friends. Angstrom taught 51 some minor fighting techniques as well as some basic reading, though she didn't pick up on it too easily.
Just when things seemed to be changing between the two of them, Angstrom's ambitious nature took hold of him and he sought power the only place that offered it - the factory. He became a traitor and stopped seeing 51 altogether.
After a while of THAT, his loneliness began to get to him, though he did his best to keep it from affecting his job, which was capturing other ragdolls for the BRAIN. It was around this time when he first met 66 and tolerated her company, soon unofficially adopting her as his little sister. This subsequently led to less-than-outstanding tolerance of the other men in 66's life, 27 and 70.
Not long after meeting 66, Angstrom first ran into Feral. Their similar employment kept them running into each other. When Angstrom decided to play for the saviors in secret, he was found out and the Fabrication Machine ordered him killed. Feral ended up rescuing him and the two of them ended up closer than anyone else Angstrom had known in this life and most probably anyone in his human life.
In an attempt to become closer with his significant other (though they hadn't exactly made this connection, yet), Angstrom agreed to be put into a skullbeast body. He and Feral soon made their connection afterwards, and ended up with three children after escaping the BRAIN yet again.
This didn't last long, either - in just enough time for Angstrom to have gotten used to skullbeast culture and behavior, he stood by and allowed Feral to dispatch his mate's old enemy, on the understanding that she'd technically died on the inside long before. The girl's caretaker, another skullbeast named Pan, witness this and attacked Feral. There was a major scrap, and both Angstrom and Feral nearly lost their lives.
Fortunately they were rescued just in time, each of their souls being transferred to new stitchpunk bodies.
- History ("then"): Hadrian was a politician in his human life. He was ruthless, cold, and calculating, and took everything he could get. He offered loans to less wealthy people and delivered swift consequences when (not if) they couldn't pay back their debts. Not only did he do this to individuals, but also to families, small businesses, and large businesses, like hospitals and prisons. One particular family borrowed money from him to help keep their livelihood alive, but when they couldn't return the money, he utterly destroyed them. This turned out to haunt Angstrom later, as the daughter of the family, Gypsy, hunted him down with intent to kill.
