Now, spread wings and fly
Take me higher
Creating a new mission
Carry on, fly through the ages now
Take me higher
Creating a new mission
Carry on, fly through the ages now
Voice, The Dragon: To Honor Us
Name: Voice
Species: Sentient
Implied Gender: Female
Purpose: Soul vessel, warrior, her take on it is to be as dragon-like as possible.
Anomalies: Made entirely in interlocking plates of artfully carved metal, Voice almost mimics a fabric skin in how flexible and varied her expressions are. She is very symmetrical and doesn't boast many injuries thanks to her tough hide. A few scratches are visbile in places.
Accessories: A simple gold ring, unadorned, with her name carved into it, around the base of her neck.
Weapon(s): Claws, teeth, tail, occasionally wings but usually keeps them folded in a fight.
Appearance: About the size of a housecat, Voice is a lithe figure, with delicate limbs supporting a long neck and tail. She's fairly light for her size (not that that's saying much) considering she's essentially a basic skeleton, and then a layer of metal plates over that that makes up her 'skin'. Bulbous green glass eyes glow with an inner light, giving her excellent night vision, but under significant emotional strife or in the face of bright light, metal 'eyelids' will slide over the glass pupil to form a vertical slit 'pupil' of light.
Personality: Voice clearly has a human's soul, and intelligence is evident in her eyes, but her motivations and thought process is quite animalistic, largely resembling a cat's. She also wholeheartedly believes herself to be a dragon, and can't fathom ever being anything else. This can be quite frustrating for anima trying to interact with her, since she can respond to approach with everything from curiosity to haughtiness to openly ignoring them.
Haughty, vain, and a bit petty, Voice is nontheless highly curious about things, despite being pretty quick to snarl or deliver a derisive snort. She considers herself the better of any creature she encounters, and likes to sort things into 'predator' and 'prey'- those being things whose power she respects and things she does not. She spends most of her time airborne and is sufficiently hindered if she can't fly.
She seems to understand stitchpunk but doesn't give it much mind; give her a compliment, though, and watch her preen.
Other Information: Voice is slightly less maneuverable in the air than a Winged Beast, and a winged stitchpunk would be able to fly circles around her, possessing as they would a much smaller wingspan and a far better ability to turn. However, in a place where there are no corners to turn, Voice would certainly come out victorious in a battle of outright speed, as her large wingspan enables her to reach impressive speeds.
In battle, she can match a skull beast; though skull beasts are generally sturdier, Voice is slender, fast, and capable of sharp strikes with her claws, teeth, and tail. A smaller stitchpunk foe or a small, agile machine might be able to get into places where Voice cannot reach, such as the place around her underbelly or her where her neck joins her head. Her construction is weaker at the joints, and a wedge-like weapon or something like a screwdriver can drive between the plates and force them apart.
Her body produces a series of soft clicking noises as she moves, and her vocalizations resemble chimes or glass bells rather than the guttural sounds of machines, though her words can be understood by those who speak the machine language.
