(Under Construction)
To Cherish Us
~ Servant of fate and deliverer of mercy ~
Number/Name:
Mike
Gender:
Male.
Years since Creation:
2
Date of Birth:
February 3rd
Alignment:
Lone. Mike lives between the lines of alignments, and labels others through the contents of their souls. Sometimes bad dolls do good things, and sometimes good dolls do bad things.
Height:
8 inches.
Fabric:
Burlap. The pants are green hemp linen.
Metal:
A combination of Iron, Copper, and Aluminum.
Anomalies:
Mike has springs at the base of his legs, which allow him to leap and run with increased speed and height. The springs are hidden beneath the material of the long pants he wears. His pupils are a deep maroon color, which is unusual when compared to the black pupils of normal stitchpunks.
His red eyes are the first indication, in fact, that he is not quite normal. Mike is half machine. His father being 371 - a cannibalistic, arachnid-resembling machine - Mike has thus been passed his father's "hunger". In order to survive, Mike must ingest a variety of fabrics and metals.
Other mechanical traits Mike inherited from his father are the four machine limbs that tuck in and out of his back. When standing on his limbs, Mike rises up to about 13 inches, making him a daunting opponent to most enemies.
Accessories:
Mike wears long, flowing green pants that rustle when he walks. Black leather belts cross his back and chest, and he uses these to hold various items as well as suspenders to hold his pants up. There are two iron plates on his shoulders that work as a kind of armor.
He wears a blue silken ribbon around his neck to honor the memory of his mother, Donnie.
Abilities:
Mike knows how to instinctively speak machine, which is another trait passed down from his father.
Weapon(s):
Despite being raised under the belief that it is wrong to hurt and eat other stitchpunks, Mikey was created with four little mechanical limbs that he can tuck in and out of his back. These limbs are only miniatures of his Daddy's, but when he makes them slide from his back it can be quite startling, and make other stitchpunks suspicious.
Mikey also has little iron claws that retract from his knuckles (like his Mama's) but he tends to use the limbs over the claws, mainly because he rises about 3 inches taller when he stands on them. He refers to his limbs as his "leggies".
Appearance:
-coming soon-
Personality:
Mikey is the son of 371 and Donnie, and was never human. He is one of the newest population of stitchpunk children (affectionately dubbed "Buttons" by their parents) created through soulbinding and birthed here, in the post-apocalyptic world of ragdolls and machines. Although he never knew the world before, Mikey is told quite a lot about it either by Donnie or through the many children's books he's learned to read. He thinks it sounded wonderful.
Mikey has his button moments, like any other. When denied something he wants he will stomp his feet and throw a small fit. He also loathes baths and the sensation of being wet, and will try to hide unless he gets in trouble for it.
Mikey's two parents are both ex-murderers, and their previous titles both changed upon the agreement made regarding Mikey's birth. The treaty was that, so long as Mikey was taught not to kill and to honor life, the alchemist they sought help from would deliver Mikey. Both Donnie and 371 adopted a new pattern of living to adapt to Mikey's, and he is the driving force in his parent's initial change. Mikey is caring, kind, and surprisingly gentle - almost as if he was created to make up for his parent's past crimes.
The fact that both his parents fit under the title of "male" doesn't bother Mikey at all. He just thinks it's normal, especially since he was born to a world where genders don't physically exist. He refers to Donnie as "Mommy" mainly because he was the one to carry Mikey, and to 371 as "Daddy" since he is the initial protective force in Mikey's life.
His parents' power is not lost to him. Mikey looks up to his Mama and Daddy quite a bit and feels a need to become just as powerful one day - if just to be more like them. He even feels like a coward at times, considering how both 371 and Donnie are fierce toward anything that poses a threat.
Mikey was once attacked by a past enemy of his parents' who drugged him with a magnet, pinned him to a garbage heap, and proceeded to cut off one of his arms. Mikey was saved by nearby, kindly dolls, but has never forgotten the incident. He has developed a deep-rooted fear of magnets since then, and will become almost violently afraid upon seeing one or feeling its effects.
